Frequently Asked Questions
Some cooktop brands may not recommend using an induction mat, so please contact the manufacturer of your specific cooktop to confirm.
Sliding cookware across the cooktop surface can cause scratches, so if your goal is to protect the cooktop surface from everyday scratches, we strongly recommend using an induction mat.
BoOh!gle cookware has a stainless steel 430 base, so it works on induction cooktops. However, a few cooktop brands may fail to detect it please check the brand list below.
Cooktop brands with detection issues or reduced compatibility: Siemens, Amway, De Dietrich, Electrolux
When using a high flame on a gas stove or burner, the flame can wrap up around the sides of the cookware, so please take care. If the detachable handle or the silicone parts of the glass lid are directly exposed to the flame, scorching or damage may occur please be careful.
Four colors are currently available: Black, Burgundy, Beige, and Green. If you have a color request, we'll take it into account for future product development.
Yes, you can clean it with dish soap and a soft scrubber. If it doesn't come fully clean, add a few drops of vinegar with water to the pan and heat it.
We recommend hand-washing with water and dish soap.
The handle and lid can be dishwasher-cleaned, but we generally don't recommend it for the BoOh!gle pan series, since the high-pressure steam can shorten the coating's lifespan.
Fluoropolymer coating offers excellent non-stick performance but has weaker durability and scratches easily, and can potentially release harmful gases when the pan exceeds 280°C. Ceramic coating, on the other hand, is more durable with no carcinogen exposure risk, but its non-stick performance is relatively lower than fluoropolymer.
The lifespan of the non-stick coating varies depending on usage conditions and frequency. To extend the coating's life, use medium heat or lower, and avoid heating an empty pan with no ingredients in it.
When using the frying pan or grill pan, spread oil evenly inside the pan and preheat for about 30 seconds to 1 minute. Once preheated, an oil film forms that helps maintain the coating longer and results in better-tasting food.
To preserve non-stick performance and the coating, low-to-medium heat is recommended for all coated pans but this traditionally meant slower cooking. BoOh!gle addressed this by adding platinum, which acts as a heat catalyst, improving heat conductivity even at low-to-medium heat. On any heat source, the Nemo series frying pan and grill pan cook everything quickly at low-to-medium heat saving energy while keeping the non-stick coating intact longer.
It's a trade-in service designed to help both the environment and your kitchen. Before using a new product, gently wipe it with a scrubber and neutral detergent using lukewarm water.
For light cooking like fried eggs, wiping with a paper towel is enough.
If you cooked something oily, wipe off the grease with a paper towel first, soak the pan in hot water for a while, then clean it with a soft scrubber and neutral detergent.
If you cooked something salty, like sauces or soups, do a light clean with a soft scrubber and neutral detergent, then soak it in water for an extended period and make sure all salt residue is fully removed before storing.
Storing the pan while salt residue remains can damage the coating, so please be careful.
The BoOh!gle Nemo series has a 100% ceramic coating, providing both internal/external durability and non-stick performance.
For all coated pans, we recommend wooden or silicone utensils.
Absolutely, yes.
Using high heat on a gas stove or cooking for extended periods can cause the silicone on the Multi Handle to melt from direct flame exposure. Please use with caution.
Use the handle for quick stir-frying or for lifting and moving the cookware.
It can support up to 10kg.
The silicone handle and the silicone cover on the glass lid can be sterilized with boiling water or a microwave. When sterilizing the lid's silicone cover, separate it from the tempered glass and sterilize the silicone alone.
BoOh!gle's tempered glass lids use only tempered glass that has passed a steel-ball drop test. You can use it with confidence.
Gently pull the small protruding tab on the silicone handle, and it will separate easily from the lid.
Please make sure the silicone handle is fully attached to the glass lid before use.
After attaching it, press down firmly once more to release any trapped air this creates suction so it won't fall off.
The silicone handle cannot be used on uneven surfaces.
Just wash it as you would normal dishes. Removing the silicone cover from the glass lid before washing keeps it more hygienic.
