The Short Version
Cooking fumes change with heat, oil, food, and ventilation. Start with the cooking conditions, then look at the narrower product question: what changed in BOOHGLE’s measured cooking-fume test?
Cooking fumes come from the cooking process.
Heating oil, fat, sauces and food can create visible smoke, ultrafine particles and volatile compounds. The amount changes with temperature, ingredient, oil type, cooking time and whether food is burning. Cookware can influence the surface temperature and residue pattern, but there is no single “cookware-only” cause of cooking fumes.
Temperature and ventilation are the first controls.
Use the lowest heat that achieves the recipe, avoid heating an empty coated pan over high heat for extended periods, and stop or lower heat when oil begins to smoke. Run a vent hood that exhausts outdoors when available, open windows when practical and keep filters maintained. Cookware performance belongs alongside those habits—not instead of them.
What we mean by “cooking-fume reduction coating.”
For BOOHGLE, that means showing the test setup: what was heated, at what temperature, for how long, in what environment, what was measured, and what surface it was compared with. The result only makes sense with that context.
What this result does—and does not—say.
A measured reduction is not the same as “ZERO fumes,” detox cooking, or a promise to prevent disease. The more useful approach is simple: cook at appropriate heat, ventilate the kitchen, and read the measured result with its test conditions.
Evidence + Limits
The current BOOHGLE U.S. wording stays directional: the coating was designed and tested for cooking-fume reduction. Any numeric result belongs with its exact method and conditions.
We keep product facts, care guidance and measured performance separate so each statement is easy to verify.
